Brooklyn Earick Rejects Spurs Acquisition Offer Post-Initial Contact

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The former chairman managed Spurs' transition to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2019.

US technology mogul the entrepreneur has ruled out submitting an official acquisition offer for Tottenham.

Tottenham had earlier “firmly declined” an unofficial approach from a consortium led by Brooklyn Earick last period and stated the organization was not for sale.

But British acquisition regulations required that, having had an informal proposal declined, the group needed to make an offer by late October or announce they would not proceed.

Official word of the choice was issued in a statement issued by Tottenham to the stock exchange, stating the club is “ceased to be in an takeover phase.”

Earick shared an image of the announcement on social media, stating: “It's been a honor interacting with Tottenham Hotspur and the owners' delegates over the past few months.

“I maintain high regard for the club, its management, and its supporters, and desire continued achievements.”

Tottenham's directors acknowledged the consortium for its “constructive approach” in negotiations and for “respecting the firm stance” of the shareholders that the team is unavailable.

Brooklyn Earick is a ex-disc jockey who also was employed in spacecraft research for NASA before creating Redacted RnD, which specializes in tech, entertainment, sport and recreation.

His approach was the third approach turned down by the team's directors since the unexpected exit of long-serving chairman Daniel Levy in last month.

On 8 September, the organization declined offers from former Newcastle United shareholder Amanda Staveley's PCP International Finance Limited and a syndicate led by Kennedy and the co-investor through the holding company.

Daniel Levy and his relatives own about a significant stake of Enic Sports & Developments Holdings Ltd – which has an nearly 87 percent interest in Tottenham.

He was the Premier League's longest-serving chairman and is estimated to have earned more than ÂŁ50m during his almost quarter of a century in the position.

Yet he was also the subject of ongoing dissent by Spurs fans, particularly last season as domestic league results were below expectations.

Spurs won their major honor in 17 years when they defeated United in May's European final.
